So I just came across these great Automator Actions that allow you to right click on any file and do many great, easy, and powerful things to it: Save for Web (using Photoshop engine, aka the best, or using Preview's engine, which is better than nothing and free), convert file names to web safe (lowercase, no spaces, and change symbols to web safe), create a clean archive, save symbolic links, and change extensions.

I was playing around in Adobe Photoshop, and I made this image that I am pretty excited about. It started by wanting to create a moon rise, and developed into what you see here. Although it is a very dark image, I think it conveys the feel of a dark and foggy night. I particularly like the use of fog and smaller brushes to get the feeling of depth. I also like the halo around the moon, I think it looks very realistic.

So I'm trying out some new software (like usual): Coda. It bills itself as one window web development. Sounds nice as I'm usually bouncing between Finder, an FTP client (Transmit, by the same people as Coda), CSSedit, TextMate, Photoshop, Safari for my CMS backend, and then Firefox for testing and Firebugging.
